Healing

     

A balsamic moon is a healing moon and I was born under one. My biological father is Plains Cree but I was born on and lived most of my life on Squamish Nation Territory. I am in the healing line, it is a gift. First Nations (Canadian Indigenous peoples) consider us all to be keepers of something. I am the Keeper of The Mother Spirit, this is my role and I know I'm not alone in it, in fact I hope more and more people of all races (race is a modern illusion, we are all one blood) have Mother Spirit come into them.

My training, (and that is all important for to possess a gift and not know how to use it properly can lead to harm), has been mostly with my oldest spirit sister on the Capilano (Squamish Nation) reservation, Chief Gail Lewis. I am also blessed with having made several Kahuna friends where I winter in Hawaii, and to have been taught by many people of medicine. In 2005 I was one of the selected people to be a healer at Chef Phil Lane's Four Worlds International Conference. I have also had my training in treating reidential school survivors and worked at the Squamish Nation's Elder's Center. Whether it's at your home, mine, in nature or on a reservation , I take my work seriously but love doing it and have fun too!

Body, mind and spirit is the best way to describe how I work. Mother Spirit comes through me on each person I treat and I can at the very least guarantee you relaxation so you heal better...the rest is between you and Creator and while I have been part of some miracles, that is because Great Spirit wanted it to be on that person's path for whatever reason.

Animals are a favorite of mine to work on and I do pets, including horses.

I work traditionally, which is by donation or gift. I do ask that some money is given if I had to use gas to get to you.
